A Vintage Crew Neck for the Win! 

When Scheels, a national sporting goods retailer, sought innovation in their collegiate apparel line, they turned to Range, their long-time partner. Range conducted nationwide store surveys, identifying the enduring popularity of hooded sweatshirts and the need for a fresh offering.

Range’s experienced collegiate apparel team collaborated with the national sporting goods retailer and local colleges and universities to create a unique vintage collegiate line of crew neck sweatshirts with throwback branding. Initially a single signature piece, it has since evolved into an expanding line, fostering growth for the retailer, colleges, universities, and Range.

Within a few years, it transitioned from a non-rated garment to a #1 rated piece, now available in stores and online. The vintage collegiate style has become an annual collection, including hooded and full-zip sweatshirts, with ongoing product development.
